I would love to share with you this absolutely beautiful Valentine’s Day wedding that took place at one of my favourite local Scottish wedding venues — Alexander House Scotland 💒🏴

Set high on the Ochil Hills in the Perthshire countryside, with views stretching towards Gleneagles Hotel and beyond, the backdrop that day was simply breathtaking. Snow dusted the mountains, the air was crisp, and I was one very happy girl capturing it all.

This wedding was super unique and beautifully intimate. The kind of day that feels warm and personal from start to finish.

And yes… can you spot the white fur, cowboy hat and boots? 👢

What a vibe. What a statement. What a couple.

Winter weddings in Scotland have such a romantic atmosphere — cosy interiors, dramatic landscapes and that magical soft winter light.

A Personalised Scottish Ceremony

The ceremony was incredibly special and thoughtfully crafted by the talented Hazel Jane, known as @revhazeljane.

Adding to the emotion, the couple chose a personalised soundtrack played live on guitar by Stuart Turner(@stuartturnerguitar).

It truly was a dream team.

Moments like these are why I love documentary wedding photography — capturing the real, heartfelt emotion as it naturally unfolds.

Highland Cows & Snowy Mountain Views

And let’s talk about the Highland cows.

The Highland coos were very polite and even posed for photos — all part of the Alexander House experience! Truly all-inclusive Scottish charm.

Between the snow-covered Ochil Hills, countryside views and relaxed luxury setting, Alexander House offers something so special for couples wanting that authentic Scottish wedding feel.
